March 2024

March, the early signs of spring finally arrived and I did a MAJOR closet renovation. I also had my final exam before spring break which is always fun (yay lmao) but overall it was a good month with a LOT of personal growth.

We had a lot of chaotic weather in Madrid, it was super windy which never helps my migraines but it looks like the windy days are behind us, the clouds have parted and we’ve finally arrived at the best weather of the year!

I truly love spring, it’s the best time of the year, seasonal depression starts to fade away and we all realise we actually have something to live for, these are the things I was into in the month of March!

Fashion Trends of the Month

This month I got obsessed with a whole new sport…. GOLF! and yes, it’s because of the fashion! where can you find such a camp sport that allows you to dress in such fun and creative ways without impeding your moves? My Pinterest boards have now been overrun with golf and tennis attire because I’m tumbling down this plaid rabbit hole. But it just looks like so much fun! And I’ve been reading up on the sport and now I’m actually super invested in it.

Wardrobe Reorganising

After my final I decided I had to re examine my ENTIRE wardrobe, it took three full days, where I laid out ALL of my clothes all over my apartment including jewellery, accessories, shoes, I photographed EVERY SINGLE PIECE and had a friend come over to help me re assess the wardrobe and see what new outfits I could put together. The place was SUCH a mess but it was so nice to see all of my clothes, what I’ve forgotten about, and trying everything on to see what still fits.

Song/Album of the Month

I Love You - Fontaines DC

This whole album is great, I’ve been listening to on repeat, so so good, and now that they are going to release a new album for the summer, I’m so excited.

You should also watch their Tiny Desk Concert, It’s so well done.

Movie of the Month

Pride and Prejudice (2005)

Matthew Macfadyen, Keira Knightley, Tom Holland, truly spectacular and so so quotable, great to watch to feel dramatic, nostalgic, have a good laugh, and the shots of the dawn breaking…. very nice.
